Fog, fog, and more
fog. More than you can
shake a stick at! Not that
shaking a stick at it would
do any good. Looking
at the smarty-pants
phone photo gallery,
dense, freezing fog
set in on the afternoon
of January 2nd, and
northeast Montana has
been covered with it
since then more times
than you can count on
two hands, might have
to pull out your toes
and keep counting.
This was a scene on
top of the hill near
Peerless Wednesday
morning, and the fog
was still heavy last
night as Jacky Dyrland
and hubby Mel had to
fire up their recently-
purchased generator
from Markle’s Hardware
(thanks, Tracy!)
because their power
was out in Glentana
due to heavy frost on
the transmission lines.
But Jacky was happy to
report that this morning
the sun is doing a good
job of burning it off!
