browsing social media through smartphones while commuting.

synergism that can eventually improve communication by using graphics,
video footages, audio clips of music or even through texts.
5. It is a formal and authoritative channel of communication. Its power in
entertaining lies in the communicator’s ability to control visual and aural
stimuli.
Given its qualities, motion media is useful in the following areas.
The world of education benefited a lot from the utilization of this kind of
media. Classroom lessons are better demonstrated using animated or
motion visuals as opposed to traditional forms of visuals. The use of motion
media in teaching and learning process, helps learners grasp the
information and skills they acquire. Some useful instructional materials that
are now commonly use in classrooms are documentaries, instructional
videos, and slide presentations like PowerPoint and Prezi. The ability to
replay videos and lecture presentations to better grasp certain ideas or
processes is also invaluable.
Motion media has allowed to reach a broad audience simultaneously
through broadcast television and films. Combining graphics and sound to
reach broad audiences, the entertainment industry benefitted from
utilizing visual angle of motion media. New media has also allowed for
varied entertainment material, such as Flash cartoons and motion comics,
YouTube webcasts, product reviews or similar web series. Video games are
also venues for the entertainment use of motion media, as well as
of interactive engagement.
Advertising companies have always found a use for motion media, as it can
carry out their visions more effectively than print media. Television
commercials have been a mainstay of broadcast media since they are able to
deliver messages to a specific target market. New media demonstrates
advertising’s continued use of motion media in the constant insertion of
animated ads in YouTube videos and in various frames of social media
pages.
