Reflection
On June 14, 2019 For My NCTIVET I was given a Assignment to do individuallThe task was to
prepared four types of appetizers to serve at a cocktail Party The Use of egg one Batch of pinewheel
sandwiches and baked cheese to be apart of Pinwheel Sandwiches And Baked Cheese to be apart of
the buffet one green salad with appropriate dishes. And to demonstrate how you should use
knowledge of first aid to treat a first degree burn and we got three and half hours to complete this
task . In order to finish in time is to write my time plan, the time plan have helped me a lot throughout
the practical . In preparation time the first thing I did was put on protective gear , collect Wash , Set
up my work area untinsils equipment, implements , Vegetables and fruits Prehe the Oven To 375°
Gease Pyrex dish. The easiest dish af all wasthe dishes was the pinwheel sandwiches I prepared the
pinwheel sandwiches with bread loaf into slices vertically then use the rolling pin to flatten the Two
Slices of bread The Reason why I Did this first is because Its a cold dish the must difficult moment in
practical was not able to thicken the sauce like it supposed to be and to be attending to more than one
dishes and wash and clean up the area at the same time . I was not expecting to finished all my dishes
on time but some how I did , I really managed my time properly and to flatten the bread with the
rolling pin without breaking it. When I was treating the first aid degree burn the first thing I did was
soaked the wound in cool water for five minutes or longer , taking pain relief , apply lidocaine( an
anesthetic) with aloe Vera gel or Cream to soothe the Skin

Reflection

On Tuesday February 19, 2019, My peer member and I Completed a task of preparing two
dry and moist methods of cooking which were ( Fried eggs ,pot roast beef , creamed
potatoes ,rice and peas ). We prepared garnishes such as scallions curl's and other edible
decorations . My happieat moment was when my teacher Miss Miller apply my peer and for
good efforts and when she told us that we stated to improve in presentations my biggest
Challenge was preparing the Pot roast beef, because it was a bit tough I learnt that we most
always cut vegetables and meats on the cutting board even though I faced challenges at doing
it.
