PICTURE PERCEPTION & DESCRIPTION TEST
IDEA The students will be shown a picture and they are asked to frame and write
a story on the basis of that picture from their perspective.
1. The picture that is shown is blurred and is shown for a duration of 60
seconds.
2. Students will also be asked to mark the characters and their moods in
the picture on the left-hand side of the paper that is provided.
3. Name the characters properly. Choose a central character and create the
story around the central character (story line should be positive).
4. End the story with a positive ending and a good conclusion.
5. Do not leave the story unfinished or end it on an abrupt note.
DURATION: 15 Minutes (writing perception) +1 hour (for narration of the story written)

OTHER PARAMETERS: 1. Ideas on talk may be compiled from standard books/internet.
2. The talk should respect sentiments of all religions, caste creed
and countries and all individuals.

RESPONSE CARDS
TOPICS (any one): Any situational topic- Moral, Mythological, Social or any real-life
incident will be given. Question may be asked on the character
sketch / critical analysis of any character or situation. The
participant will write down his/her views on a paper and then
narrate with proper justification.
DURATION: 15 Minutes (writing response) + 1 hour (for narration of the story
written)

THINK-PAIR-SHARE (GROUP ACTIVITY)
IDEA: One incident from Mythology/Social Issues/ Current Events will
be given to a set of two students, both will be allowed to discuss
over the topic. After discussion, one will justify in favour of the
main character and other will reason out why the action of the
main character is not justified.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 2 participants
DURATION: 5 min for discussion + 15 min for writing + 1 hour for narration

CREATIVE ACTIVITIES
SOLO DANCE COMPETITION
MONO ACTING
THEME: To be specified by the participants. Two figurines may be used. One may
be drawn and other may be decorated using paper/cloth/decorative items.
DURATION: 2 HOURS
PARAMETERS OF JUDGEMENT: 1. Originality & Creativity 2. Fashion Communication
3. Clarity of theme. 4. Overall Presentation
OTHER POINTS: Students will bring their design on an A-3 size chart paper. Sample will
be provided on 6th October 2022. Two participants will decorate the
figurine(paper/cardboard/model/any doll) with the help of decorative
material(paper/cloth/gems& stones/laces/other items) etc in school. They
will also communicate(read-out) a brief write -up of choosing the colour
combination, materials used, display etc for the theme chosen.
PLATE THE PLATTER (Group activity of 4 students)
THEME: This activity will have two parts:
PART A- THE CUISINE SHOW
PART B- VENUE SETTING & CUTLERY ARRANGEMENT
The show may be arranged based on any theme, for e.g. Mughal, Rajasthani, South Indian, Italian or any other
Continental Themes and the cooking and presentation will be done as per theme chosen.
Participants must bring articles/materials required for both the activities from home and may take them back
after the activity.
PART -A THE CUISINE SHOW (Two participants)
