Objective
The objective of this policy is to execute the repair so the equipments will be in a good condition of performance.

Application Domain
This policy is applied by the engineering and maintenance department in all operations of repair.

Policy
Only Qualified Technicians/Engineers are authorized to respond to maintenance requests.

Descriptions of the Activity

1. The request for Repair is prepared and presented to the maintenance department according to Protocol ENG-P02.

2. The Maintenance Engineer applies the protocol of priority in order de decide upon the priority of repair for the
equipment and puts the category on the request form.

3. After inspection of the equipment, the Maintenance Engineer decides if the equipment needs any external repair.

4. For an external repair, application of the Protocol of External Repair.

5. For an internal repair, the Maintenance Engineer decides if the repair requests the purchase of parts.

6. For the purchase of parts, application of the protocol of purchasing.

7. The Maintenance Engineer with the collaboration of the technician of maintenance executes the repair.

8. The Maintenance Engineer decides if the repair is well executed, if no, return to step 3, if yes, proceed to step 9.

9. When the repair is executed, the Maintenance Engineer and the Persons who participated in the execution of the repair
sign and fill the report according to the form of the Request for Repair.

10. The equipment is delivered to the department and the form of the Request for Repair is signed by whoever delivered it
to the department and by the department as received.
