Challenges Experienced by Students During Covid-19 Pandemic

General Objective:

This study aims to determine the challenges experienced by students during Covid-19 pandemic.

Statement of the Problem:

Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following question:

1. What are the challenges experienced by students during Covid-19 pandemic in terms of:
A. Availability of gadgets
B. Internet connectivity
C. Internet allowance
D. Parental Support
E. Conflict with house chores

Significance of the Study:

The results of the study will be beneficial to the school.

This will inform them of the challenges experienced by students during Covid-19 pandemic to the
following.

School Authorities: The result of the study will help them design interventions to improve learning of
students despite the pandemic.
Parents/Guardians: They will be guided with the needed support by their children while learning.

Future Researchers: These will serve as guide to other researchers who will conduct a similar study.

Scope and Limitations of the Study:

This study is limited only to the challenges experienced by Grade 10-Seagull School Year 2021-2022
students of Salngan National High School during Covid-19 pandemic.

Definition of terms:

To achieve clarity and precision in the usage of terms that we used in the study, these are defined as
follows:

A. Pandemic-A worldwide spread of a new disease. Viral respiratory disease such as those
caused by a new influenza virus or the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 (from

B. Challenges-to arouse or stimulate especially by presenting with difficulties.

Methodologies:

Research Design

Descriptive method of research was used in this study.

Locale of the study was conducted last July 11-14, 2022 at Salngan Passi City, Iloilo
Respondents of the Study

The respondents of the study were Grade 10-Seagull students of Salngan National High School, Salngan
Passi City, Iloilo.

Research Instrument

The primary data was gathered from the information given by the respondents. A questionnaire was
used in gathering the needed data.
