A combination of fixed and Programmable Goniometer channels can be used. The channels must first be defined in the “Fixed Chan- nels Scalers” and the “Programmable Goniometer Channels" screens, both of which can be accessed via the “Configu- ration” option in the main menu. The measuring program action form is shown below. The measuring time for each program- mable goniometer channel is defined in the “Time” column, for that channel. Measuring times must be multiples of 10 seconds, in the range from 10 lo 990 seconds. In addition, a delay time may be specified (thats, a waiting time while the ‘sample is irradiated before the measurement starts). Ifthe sum of all measuring times of programmable goniometer channels exceeds the given measuring time of the fixed channels, the fixed channel time is made equally long, up to a maximum of 990 seconds. ‘Spinner rotation during measurement may be selected. ‘Amaximumot 60 measuring channels canbe programmed.
