In addition, a list of general error messages valid for the total system is given. Different errors for several screens are for example given in section A.4.6. An application is selected by typing at least the number of significant charac- ters indicated for that item followed by , for example "M" for measurement, “Ch” or “ch” for channel calibration. As @ result of such a selection, the system may display another menuform action form or an error me: sage on the current menu form.
