Pulse Height Distribution: For measurement of the pulse height distribution of the detector. 2. Ratemeter Display: Enables the ratemeter in the instrument and simulates a ratemeter on the VDU. This is meant for crystal alignment and detector HV attenuation. 3. Calibrate Goniometer Angles: Meant for the adjustment of angles of the assembled Programmable Goniometer channels. Goniometer Zero Ottset Calibration: Meant for calibration of the PW1661/00 Programmable Goniometer. ey A421 Pulse Height Distribution Pulse Height Distribution (PHD) graphs are produced in a single measurement for all fixed and one of the goniometer channels, the latter can be edited after the measurement has started. ‘Afixed channel name, the measuring ime per step and the sample identilication can all be edited before the measure- mentis started. The ‘energy’, detector ype’ and'Q_norm’ are selected automatically, with that channelname, from the “Configuration” screen. The next example shows the results of, and how to start, a PHD measurement.
