and Error Messages
It is possible to Edit the channel name, time/step and the sample identification via selection “Edit”.
In the channel field, all known channels might be typed; this means channels also for the programmable
goniometer. if a PHD is measured, this is displayed, otherwise nothing will be displayed.
For the goniometer, this means only the pre-selected channel is displayed and all other channais show an
empty display,
‘After measurement, it is possible for a programmable goniometer channel to enter the selected values
for lower level and upper level in this screen. More details can be found in Chapter 3.
A.3.13 Ratemeter Display
‘The ratemeter can be used to carry out x-tal and detector HV adjustment for any of the fixed channels or
the programmable channel.
This form enables the ratemeter in the instrument and simulates a ratemeter on the VOU.
‘The ratemeter form is shown in the next exampl

Edit allows changing of the input fields such as Scaler number or Element name, Scaling. max scale and
time constant
In case the scaling is chosen as fixed, an input field zero point appears.
Load allows loading a sample from the loading position to the measuring position, while unload allows
unloading of a sample from the measuring position to the loading position of the PW1660/00.
If the countrate is slowly varying (current countrate), it is possible to smooth the countrate via increments
of the time constant value. The smoothed countrate is also displayed.
