Selection of another ‘medium will change immediately. CAUTION: Never change from one medium to another when a sample is loaded and never select vacuum if liquids are to be measured. ‘Aiso in this form, the airlock pumping down time (seconds) during sample loading and the vacuum warning level (Pa) ‘can be set. The system will generate a warning if the vacuum exceeds this level. In the case where a Helium flushing system is mounted, the Helium flushing time in the airlock during the loading of a sample is programmed. ‘The maximum time for waming level means the following: It the vacuum warning level is exceeded during sample loading, the system will purip down for a particular length of time. In case the vacuum level is now lower than the warning level, measurement will start, otherwise the sample is retumed. Ifthe status line display has been enabled, the following data will be displayed across the top line of each form and menu: 1. The vacuum pressure in Pascal orf no vacuum has been selected, the selected medium (Ar, Helium), 2. The water temperature of the spedtrometer in degrees Celsius 3, The cabinet temperature of the spectrometer in degrees Celsius 4. The status of the HT. 5. Aield with the identification spinner on or off 6. __The position of the sample (SLP is loading position) (SMP is measuring position) (S?P moving)
