LEARNING OBJECTIVE

This activity is to help you to create an outline before you deliver your speech,
as it will act as your guide to effectively sequence your information and ensure
you touch on all your main points.

1. Students must work individually on this assignment.


2. Choose a subject/topic that will be interesting to you and your audience.
Consider your own interests and experiences and the audience’s needs,
interests and experiences.
3. Follow the guidelines to write your outline.
4. Complete the speech outline template provided.
5. Your speech outline must consist of an introduction, body, and conclusion.
6. You MUST fulfil the requirements laid out in the template.
7. There is no need to write the actual speech. Be guided by the questions.
8. You can refer to the rubric attached for assessment criteria.
