POSITIVES IN HER FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT INCLUDES THE


FOLLOWING:
NOT LETTING ANY STUDENT GET LEFT BEHIND - TEACHER
MADISON WAS ABLE TO RECOGNIZE THE STUDENTS WHO WERE
HAVING A HARD TIME AND CAME TO AID THEM IMMEDIATELY.
IT WAS IT IMMEDIATE - IT WAS ALSO NOTABLE HOW TIMELY
AND IMMEDIATE HER FEEDBACK WAS AND THAT SHE WAS ABLE
MODEL FOR HER STUDENTS WHEN THEY NEEDED IT.
SHE DIDN'T SPOON FED HER STUDENTS - INSTEAD OF JUST
GUIDING THEM DIRECTLY, SHE USED GUIDING QUESTIONS TO
POINT THEM TO THE RIGHT DIRECTION

GROUPINGS AS A FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT: MADISON ALLOWS


STUDENTS TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES THROUGH
LEARNING NEW SKILLS FROM THEIR ACTIVITY AND
CONSULTATIONS WITH PEERS.
THE TWO ACTIVITIES PROVIDED WERE NOTE CARDS FOR SLOW
LEARNERS AND PHOTO MAGAZINES FOR FAST LEARNERS. AND THOSE
ACTIVITIES ARE NOT REPETITIVE WHICH SURELY ENSURES STUDENT
DEVELOPMENT AND ADVANCEMENT THROUGH THE MATH UNIT.
TELL THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THIS
SO THE LEARNERS WILL BE GUIDED IN THEIR LEARNING PROCESS
BECAUSE IT IS DIFFICULT FOR STUDENTS TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE
SUPPOSED TO LEARN IF THEY DON’T KNOW THE LEARNING
OBJECTIVES.
