1. 연혁
전남대학교는 1952년에 설립되어 호남권 중심대학으로서 광주에 메인 캠퍼스를 두고
있으며, 우수한 연구와 교육을 통해 한국과 지역사회의 우수한 인재를 양성하고 있다. 전
남대학교는 다양한 전공의 학위과정을 제공하는 종합대학으로서 17개 단과대학, 11개의
대학원에 약 31,800명의 학생들이 재학 중이며 (외국인 유학생 약 1,900명 포함) 1,170여
명의 교수진들이 대학발전을 선도하고 있다.

1. History
Founded in 1952, CNU has remained committed to fostering global leaders and

1) The spelling of the applicant’s English name MUST match the name on their
passport
2) Write the official name of the university and their available majors(field of study) as
indicated in the ‘University information’ file attached in the application guidelines.
3) All documents submitted will NOT be returned to the applicants in any case.
4) Application documents must be submitted in the order of the checklist on the first
page of the application forms. Each required document must be numbered and
labeled on the top right corner.(ex.9. Certificate of Bachelor’s degree)
