METHODOLOGY

Scope and Limitation

This research was carried out in the Barangay by section G1 level II students. Marawi City, Lanao del
Sur, Papandayan, Kanyogan Zone 1. The students were placed in Kanyogan Zone 1, and their task was
to conduct a household survey there. Twenty families in total were interviewed. There Twenty families
are interviewed, and 18 households are surveyed. The family health survey includes interviews with the
20 families. Health precautions are nevertheless properly observed during the activity.

Respondents

The 18 households from the community that the students were assigned to survey are included as
respondents in this study, for a total of 20 families. They are chosen based on who is willing to
participate in the study, regardless of gender, religion, tribe, or age, as long as they are residents of
Marawi City's Kanyogan Zone 1 and Barangay Papandayan.

Statistical Method

Descriptive statistics are the statistical approach employed in the study. The "analysis, summary, and
presentation of conclusions relating to a data set produced from a sampler or complete population" is
known as descriptive statistics. This technique gives details about a data set or gives an explanation of
the data being analyzed (CFI, 2015).

Instruments

In the Community exposure, the following instruments are employed:

1. Form for a family health survey. Answers to this family nursing evaluation questionnaire are
required from each of the 18 households. This includes the family's structures, traits, and dynamics as
well as socioeconomic and cultural traits, aspects of the home and environment, health care, parenting
responsibly, health and medical records, problems or circumstances in the family, the presence of health
threats, the existence of health deficits, and the existence of stress points or situations where a crisis is
likely to occur.

2. Family Data Board. The immunization, water supply, acceptance of segregation by the family,
herbal garden, and family planning are all listed on this data board.
3. Stethoscope and Sphygmomanometer. This is used to measure the blood pressure of every family
member in case they have no knowledge about it.

4. Weighing Scale. This is used to measure the weight of every family member in case they have no
knowledge about it.

5. Tape Measure. This is used to measure the height of every family member in case they have no
knowledge about it.

6. Cellphone. This is used for documentation during the community exposure.
