National Tourism Day Reels Contest Rulebook

1. This contest is open to college graduates and under-graduates between the age group of 18 to 26
who are willing to create something unique and out of the ordinary. If you are one of those artists
who are passionate about travelling, trying out new camera angles and love cinematography, then
this contest is definitely for you!
2. Date of Registration
a. The final date of registration for this project is 25th January
3. Participation Mandates
a. Participation can be in the form of an individual entry.
b. Registration is mandatory.
c. While registering make sure you add your contact details as well as your professor’s
details.
4. About the Project
a. The time duration of the reel should be between 15 seconds to 90 seconds.
b. The theme for the contest is the Wonders of India

 5. Submission Mandates
a. The final reel to be uploaded to your Instagram account under the #YuvaTourismClub and
#IndiaTourism. You need to tag India Tourism’s official account, Rooftop App and India
Chalk in your final reel.

Send your reels to the following address with the given subject line -

b. Make a note that the reel you are submitting should not carry any kind of
watermark/logo/trademark or any symbol highlighting the name or identity of the
participant. Otherwise, the reel will be rejected.
c. Send your reels to the following address with the given subject line -

d. You need to share the following things along with the reel.
i. Names of participants involved in the reel.
ii. Place/activity/festival that you have highlighted in the reel.
iii. Music credits (if external music is used)
iv. Raw files of the reel
In case you have compiled different videos.

6. Results
We understand that content creation holds a special place in your heart. Every minute you invest
in finessing reel is precious and we believe that this hard work should be appreciated.
a. Every participant submitting the reel will receive a participation certificate
b. The top 3 winners will be selected from the submissions.

7. Consent, Permission and Licenses

It is mandatory for you as a creator to get all the necessary permissions from the stakeholders
you will be involved in the project. This includes -
a. Actors and actresses you include in this project.
In case applicable.
b. Permission from the owners of the property/location you use while the process of
shooting.
c. The music/stock footage/outsourced images or any kind of material, if you are sourcing
from a third party should be strictly licensed.

8. Language and Visual Restrictions

We discourage you to use any kind of swear words or violent visuals or any kind of
nudity/semi-nudity throughout this project. Any kind of project containing such content will be
rejected without any consideration.
