    Analyze the following scenario or question stated below  in a Word

    Processing Application then submit the document in this post. The statement

    to analyze is:

    1. "What’s the difference between a LAN and a WAN? Give an example

    of the use to which each type of system can be put. Does your college

    maintain either type of computer network?"

    -LAN is a computer network that connects computers in small areas. WAN is

    a network that covers a broad area using private or public network transports.

    Examples of Local Area Network (LAN) are, Networking in home, office.

    Networking in school, laboratory, university campus, Networking between two

    computers, Wi-Fi (When we consider wireless LAN). On the other hand,

    WAN, the popular word in network, refer to wide area network, is a network

    which is used to connect different local area networks (LAN). Local area

    networks are connected to one another through a device called router. There

    may be used many router to connect large amount of LANs.  Internet is the

    example of WAN.
