At the end of the lesson, the learners are able to:

from the 'Box of the Past'

TIME ALLOTMENT 2 hours (1 day)


LESSON OUTLINE:
During the lesson, the learners will:
1. Introduction/Review: Presentation of learning outcomes as well as having review of the past lesson.
2. Motivation: Sharing of insights and experiences regarding a specific situation.
3. Practice: Sharing of ideas based on observation.
4. Enrichment: Writing a brief speech.
5. Evaluation: Delivery of the speech in an open forum.

PROCEDURE MEETING THE LEARNERS’ NEEDS


INTRODUCTION

MOTIVATION

1. Allow the students to practice their communication skills and strategy by:

2. Remind that speaking in front has a lot of components to remember for it to be effective.

INSTRUCTION/DELIVERY
1. With regards to the way students talked and shared insights in the one-minute free talk,
students will be asked the following questions:
a. Do you think you listened carefully to the instructions?
b. Did you consider using non-verbal communication such as hand gestures and posture while
speaking?
c. Did you have connection with your audience?

PRACTICE
1. LIKE or DISLIKE
With the video presentation, the students will share their observations on the video
presentation. The class will have to react on the observations presented by raising their
thumb (agree) or turning it down (disagree).

ENRICHMENT
The class will be grouped into 5. They will write a brief speech as if they will be running as the Teacher Tip:
SK Chairman for this year’s election. There will be one speech per group. Students will only write 1-2
paragraphs.
The speech must present the

EVALUATION
