● Major in Educational Management
This course has been designed primarily to enhance the professional arena of graduate school students
on the new core competence concept on strategic planning and management in the educational setting.
Further, this course introduces the students on the knowledge, purpose, importance, components of the
process, principles, and the preliminary requirements for management through strategic planning.
Through this course, prospective school leaders will be exposed to the evolution of human desire for
self-reliance and technically proficient by realizing that new leadership mindset that could adapt to this
ever-changing environment. Likewise, the students are required to prepare a strategic planning design
intended for their respective institution for learning effectiveness.

II. Graduate School Vision-Mission Statement
Mission: The Graduate School envisions itself as the cradle of professional practitioners who are
holistically equipped to serve its immediate community, the country, and the world, and could
expertly assume roles of leadership in theology, education and management guided by the
institutional motto “Ex Fide Ad Veritatem.”
Vision: The Graduate School of Holy Cross of Davao College, commits itself to provide total quality
instruction, relevant research and socially responsive extension service through its faculty
and staff driven by the desire to promote quality Catholic education to produce graduates
who will be effective agents of social transformation.
Goals: The Graduate School of Holy Cross of Davao College, aims to produce graduates who:

educational system and the corporate world.

attention to indicators of equity, effectiveness, and efficiency that optimize the learning
