4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity Teacher introduces the song, " Hello, How Do You Do?" in class.The teacher sings with pupils as
10 minutes he or she points at the words of the song.
4.2 Activity Teacher divides the class into small groups with 4-6 members. Each group forms a circle. Members
15 minutes of the group pass around a special microphone and introduce themselves to their group mates.
4.3 Analysis Teacher reads the song " Hoe Do You Do" while pointing at the words. Pupils then identify the
5 minutes rhyming words in it.
4.4 Abstraction
What words in the song sound the same?

4.5 Application Present a chart of a nursery rhyme. Group the pupils into two. Each group will pick a rhyming word
5 minutes base on the rhyme presented.
4.6 Assessment Pupils sing a song. Then let the pupils state the rhyming words found in

4.1 Introductory Activity Teacher introduce the action song " Finger Family Song" in class. The lyrics of the song are written on the
10 minutes manila paper. Pupils sing while doing the actions of the songs.
4.2 Activity

Let the pupils listen to the lyrics of the song as the" Hello, Hello How do You Do as the teacher sings it. Ask.
What words in the song sound the same? Teacher calls 3-5 pupils to show their work in class. Pupils also
share who in their family who helped them do their homework. Teacher shows
picture of family and separate pictures of father, mother, brother, sister, baby and grandparents in class. He

or she post the pictures.He or she also puts labels under each picture. Pupils then say who are in the
pictures. teachers explains to the pupils that the concepts of family is thought in Mother Tongue and Filipino.
Present picture shows a Filipino family.

4.3 Analysis
Who are the members of the family? ( father, mother, brother, sister, baby and grandparents.
