I. RATIONALE:

Pursuant to Republic Act 9155 or the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001, the
Department of Education through the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) shall
provide the necessary support, capacitate schools and learning centers in ensuring a conducive learning
environment and of government and operations to achieve quality, accessible, relevant and liberating
basic education. SGOD shall ensure education support services such as but not limited to youth
development programs, school health and nutrition, senior high school (SHS) voucher, as well as
planning and research, community level linkages and partnerships, human resource development and
quality assurance services.

In the order to have coherence and proper coordination of the education support programs in
the office, it is imperative to conduct the yearly planning, which necessitates every program proponent
to present their year-round planned activities to ensure all mandated programs are incorporated and
implemented as schedule. It is also important to discuss and abide with the set standards and guidelines
in implementation of various support programs as well as in monitoring and reporting of program
accomplishments.

1. 2022 HRTD & GAS Budgeting
2. Assessment of sub-ARO funds balances
3. Setting of performance targets per KRA as basis for mid-year and year-end PIR
4. Identifying priority programs to be implemented 1st and 2nd quarter of 2022
5. Administrative matters updates
