DB
Function is a formula that built in a DDB
mathematical calculation provided by Excel. FV
Each function has its own name and are also FVSCHEDULE
sometimes referred to as formulas. This IPMT
formula is an expression that calculates the
IRR
value of a specific cell.

NPV
Both function and formula starts with an “=” PDURATION

automatic result based on the values that was PV
entered in that formula. RATE

With this built-in mathematical calculation provided by Excel, I can now quickly visualize the data
that I want to interpret through the various functions available in the FORMULA tab. Understanding
on how to properly use these formulas, I can now work faster and spend my remaining time on other
necessary things. Instead of manually encoding the data by instances of using those arithmetic
operators such as addition, subtraction/negation, multiplication, division, percent, and
exponentiation signs, I can now quickly calculate a specific problem through using the provided
functions found in formula tab. Moreover, instead of manually inputting text and reference operators
(“&”, “:”, “;”), I can now use either the Text or Logical function to adjoins text or separate
arguments in a function. Lastly, the Financial function are also essential especially for my course
because I can now easily calculate the appropriate financial calculations in order to have an accurate
financial outcome.
