The document provides operating procedures for testing the local protection water mist system once a month on the VLGC Gas Alyssa. The test involves closing outlet valves, opening test valves, manually releasing one section by activating the control panel button and checking that the pump starts, valve opens, water discharges, and alarm resets correctly before closing the test valve and repeating for other sections. Finally, the outlet valves are opened and the freshwater tank refilled.
