This document discusses two ethical issues in business: discrimination and harassment, and the misuse of social media.
The first story describes a black woman who faced discrimination at her workplace, as there were no restroom or cafeteria facilities for black employees. When she brought this issue to her boss, he was unaware and took action to remedy the unfair situation.
The second story involves a businessman who sought to grow his company rapidly by sabotaging competitors through negative social media campaigns. However, his actions were discovered and his reputation was ruined, facing the same treatment he had inflicted on others.
Both cases illustrate the importance of ethical conduct in business and treating all people, as well as competitors, with fairness, dignity

● Ethical Issues of Business in Discrimination and Harassment.
1. This is the story of a black woman who works for a company
that doesn't have a restroom or cafeteria for black people. Every time she needs to go to the restroom, she needs to walk into another street building to use the restroom and to buy food. And because she is also a woman and one of the black people, white people treated her differently and didn't care about her. Because of this, she is always late to work, and their boss noticed why she's always gone and late. Her boss asked her in front of the other employees why she's always late. She said that there is no restroom or cafeteria for people like her, a black woman who wants to work to survive every day and always makes an effort to obey the white people because they always make her feel that she does not belong to that company. Her boss was shocked and didn't know that that kind of discrimination happens in his own company. After she expressed her feelings, her boss built a restroom and cafeteria for the black employees he has.
2. This business ethics issue involves unfair working conditions.
Because of the discrimination happening in the business where black people don't have restrooms and cafeterias inside the company where they are working, some employees also treat her differently because of the color of her skin. It's also shown that even if they are in the same position in the company, white people are still the ones who can control the society they have.
3. There are no people who deserve that kind of discrimination
in our workplace or even in public places. Skin is not the one who will tell us what kind of respect we can get from other people and how much respect we need to give to other people. Whatever your color is, you deserve love, respect, and equal treatment from other people. God gives us our own uniqueness and loves us more than other people can love us. Appreciate yourself and don't be ashamed of your color; love yourself the way God loves you.
● Ethical Issues of Business in Social Media
1. This story is about a man who wants to grow his company
faster. He is new in the industry, but he can't wait for his business to become more known in the country. Because of that, he thinks that ruining other people's businesses will help him grow faster. He targeted one of the smaller but still famous companies in the country. He used social media to ruin the company's reputation in social media markets. His planned works, so he targets the next company. His company grew so fast because of what he did. He was really happy about it until one of the hackers hacked her computer and posted on social media all of the things he did to ruin other companies' reputations using social media. All of the things he did to ruin other people's companies ruined his own reputation, not only in his company but also in his country.
2. This case involves sabotaging other people's businesses or
ruining other people's business reputations. This is one of the bad ways to make our company grow so fast. It's okay if we make friends with other businessmen so they can help and give us advice on how to make our company like theirs.
3. Karma is always with us; it can be good or bad, depending
on what we do. Don't do it to others if you don't want others to do it to you. We should respect and always appreciate everything we have, or whenever we are treating other people the way we want them to treat us. Competing with others is not always everything; we should use it to make friends and gain more experience that we can also share.
