The difference between the film The Joy Luck Club and the original novel.

The most notable difference is that in the film where there are the most roles, June is possible
that June is the main character, whereas in the novel it is not visible who the main character is,
it's just that in each part it makes it seem as if all the characters are the main character.

Differences in plot and character parts of Rose Hsu Jordan in the film and in the novel.

In the film, Rose looks like a loving and caring woman, while in the novel, Rose looks like a passive
and flat person.

There are also plot differences in the novel and in the film, in the novel the story is that Rose's
mother told Rose that Ted was having an affair while in the film Rose herself asked her husband
Ted directly, what was the name of her husband's affair, and in the novel it is told how
traumatized Rose was after her sister Big drowned but in the film there is no explanation about it.
In the novel it is told that the final story of Rose and Ted ends (divorced) but in the film it is
shown as if they were not divorced they returned to being a husband and wife who love their
child.
