Article I

The Teachers and The Technology

1. Every teacher shall attain technological competency and skills to boost up the
capacity and stimulation of the learners. In doing so, they shall uphold ethical
standards and behave with dignity in the use of any technological inventions relating
to various academics and professional settings.
2. A teacher shall ensure that every student is digitally and technologically literate to
efficiently and effectively facilitate the teaching-learning process; provided that, they
shall cultivate the learners' ethical behaviors and moral identity on the use of
educational technologies.
3. A teacher shall be flexible and dynamic to the abrupt changes in educational system,
and they shall professionally use, if duly required, digital learning tools in teaching
the students remotely. However, if the learners find it hard to engage in remote
learnings, the teachers shall be innovative and make it sure that they justifiably and
impartially teach every student in the online instructions.
4. No teacher shall make long term online learning instructions or blended learning
concerned with the integration of face-to-face classes, modular, and online teaching
except for cause; provided that, the reasons are valid; provided, further, that the
teachers shall not violate the students’ privacy nor disseminate their educational
records and confidential information.
5. Every teachers shall provide a high quality online instruction to produce a quality
online education to all the students where the desired learning outcomes are fully
achieve.
6. A teacher shall strictly discourage all the learners of doing ethical issues such as
plagiarism, cyberbullying, and sending malicious pictures as well as false information
upon handling different forms of technology.
7. A teacher shall give awareness to the students about the consequences of their
actions if they use such digital learning tools unethically.
