INVITATION

Dear Maarifa,
We are glad to invite your RLO to nominate two (2) representatives to participate in the RELON Southwest
Regional Stakeholders’ Engagement and leadership meeting, scheduled on the 17th February 2023, under
the “Strengthening refugee-led advocacy through capacity-building”. The aim of the meeting is to
strengthen collaboration, coordination and communications with the RLOs and other stakeholders in the
Southwest region.

In line with the above, your organisation has been selected to part-take in the meeting and we
would be pleased to see fair representation on gender representation of the participants thereby.
More specifically, your organisation is required to send two (2) representatives one male and one
female to attend the meeting. Please note, gender representation is much obligatory to triumph as
per our policies signified.
The logistics note: the logistical arrangements is made to ensure participants save time to
attending the meeting on time.
1. To save time for the meeting we advise that the participants should use any available means
of transport to reach the venue on time and transport fare will be refunded.
2. The participants will be accommodated in a hotel and be catered for by the RELON.
3. The participants will be given money to look for their own meals wherever they like as far
as their choices are concerned.
4. The arrival time of the participants to the Hotel is evening,16th February 2023.
5. Meeting’s time: the meeting will begin at 8:30Am and ends at about 5:00pm throughout
2days.
6. Meeting venue: Skylight Hotel in Mbarara
NB: anything that deemed to circumvent any RLO representatives to attend the meeting on time
should be reported to the RELON management before it is too late.
