TITLE OF THE PROJECT: PROCUREMENT OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR GRADE SCHOOL

PROPONENT: YOUTH DEVELOPMENT TASK FORCE

RATIONALE:

Republic Act No. 10742 wherein an act establishing reforms in the Sangguniang Kabataan creating enabling
mechanisms for meaningful youth participation in nation building and for other pursposes. This act shall be
known as “Sangguniang Kabataan reform act of 2015 , sec. 2 Declaration of State parties and objectives. The
State recognizes this vital role of the youth in NATION-BUILDING, and thus, promotes and protects their
physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being inculcate in them, patriotism, and either desirable
values and encourages their involvement in public and civic affairs.

OBEJECTIVES:
1. TO UTILIZE SAGGUNIANG KABATAAN FUND TO MORE BENEFICIAL PROJECT/PROGRAM TO THE
YOUTH.
2. TO EQUIPT YOUTH WITH BASIC EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS/SUPPLIES ANYTIME BE DISTRIBUTED
TO ALL LESS FORTUNATE GRADE SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY.
3. TO SUPPORT OUR YOUTH NOT ONLY FOR SPORTS ACTIVITIES BUT ALSO TO EDUCATIONAL
PROGRAMS TO UPHOLD OUR YOUTH AND TO LET THEM REALIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION
IN OUR LIVES.
4.TO DEVELOP AND RENDER SERVICE TO YOUTH THROUGH ITS EDUCATIONAL (REACH OUT) PROGRAM.

FUNDING REQUIREMENTS: Alloted funds to be incurred for the procurement of the aforementioned supplies
will come from its 10% IRA Share-SKDevelopment Fund of 2022.
