I have learned some techniques that make the essay interesting when writing both

introductions and conclusions. Although some sentiments are new, they are essential for a

constructive essay, and in most cases, writers tend to forget their importance. First, a substantial

introduction comprises of three elements namely, a hook, a context or focused topic and a strong

thesis statement. The hook ( an anecdote in my case) is a unique technique that attracts the

reader’s attention, and it can be, and a good connection with a focused topic and thesis stamen

enhances the smooth flow of the introduction. Likewise, a conclusion starts by rephrasing the

thesis statement, briefing on the major ideas within the essay and a closing significance of the

paper’s content. Uniquely, I never knew that by restating the thesis and starting with “In

conclusion” phrase was a kind of an appeal to the audience.
