RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR, HON.

MATTHEW
JOSEPH MARCOS MANOTOC, TO ENTER AND SIGN INTO A MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE DIFFERENT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES IN
ILOCOS NORTE FOR ON-THE-JOB TRAINING OF THE STUDENTS OF THE
LATTER

WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte is willing to accept trainees officially
enrolled in the different Colleges and Universities subject to the terms and conditions provided in
their respective Memorandum of Agreement;

WHEREAS, the different Colleges and Universities in Ilocos Norte are offering courses which
require On the Job Training (OJT) for their students;

WHEREAS, part of the curriculum of the students enrolled in the different Colleges and
Universities is to undergo On the Job Training (OJT) equivalent to hours required by their
respective course;

WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte has the facilities and/or expertise to
provide occupational experience to students-trainees to enhance their competence in their chosen
field of endeavor;

WHEREAS, parties above-mentioned commit to adhere with the terms and conditions stipulated
in the Memorandum of Agreements;

WHEREAS, an authority to sign by the Governor from the Sanggunian is needed pursuant to
Section 465 (b)(1)(vi) of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991,
hence this resolution.
