answer to the front.

Let us examine the colors. What are the colors Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo violet
that you can see in the rainbow?

What is our universal set? The days in a week

What day do I go to school? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Suppose that Set A = {Monday, Tuesday, A’ = {Friday, Saturday, Sunday}

Very good. So based on our example, how do The complement of set A contains the elements
we define compliment of a set? that belong to universal set but do not belong to
set A.
Very good. Can we have a compliment without No.
a universal set?
Why? The compliment would be infinite.

Very good. Always remember that there must


be a universal set in order to have a
compliment. Hence, Set A + A’ = U.
