Case Study of ALMA ELECTRONICS: I’ll Dream of You

A. Introduction

All of us have dreams in life, and we can do everything to make them real. Some of us choose
what we want to be, but some are our parent’s wants, or sometimes it is because of peer pressure or a
family generation. To have dreams in life sometimes is not easy there are things you need to consider.
Our parents are always there to support us. Our family is the number one fan when it comes to our
dream. We are dreamers, we are not content with what we have, and we are seeking and exploring
something that can help us become successful in life because we want to be like other people who have
a better life than us. On that matter, our parents dream of us to become successful that we can help
them to their dreams or goals not only for them but also for us. They are the ones who decide what
college courses we take. They know what the best for us that sometimes they are the ones who dream
for us also they consider our capacity and ability. They are thinking in advance for our dreams, the right
path to become successful in the future, something that can help for the better, that both of you can
benefit from, and something that they are proud. As part of our study, I, the researcher decided to find a
solution to the concerns of Mr. Mallari in this case study entitled ALMA ELECTRONICS: I’ll Dream of You.

B. Statement of the Problem

At the end of the study, the researcher will be able to determine the right solution to the
concerns of Mr. Mallari.

More specifically it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What are the college courses that are suitable for Mr. Mallari's children?
2. How Mr. Mallari persuades or convinces his sons to enroll in the college courses he
wants them to take?
3. How would he start establishing his own assembly plant?

C. Results and Discussion

After a thorough reading and evaluation, the following solutions were analyzed.

1. Mr. Mallari should suggest to his Children to take the following courses namely: BS
Electronics Communication Engineering (ECE), BS Electrical Engineering (EE), BS
Accountancy, BS Business Administration, and BS Business Management. These courses
 are in line and related to his current business and can be beneficial for his future dream
of establishing his assembly plant.

2. Mr. Mallari should first open up to his children about his willingness to establish his
assembly plant that will succeed the same as his friend’s business did. Second, open up
his willingness about the college courses he wants for his sons. Let his children
understand the importance of these college courses he wants them to take. Make them
realize that these courses are beneficial for their future assembly plant also it can help
them to be successful in the future. If they agree, he should pick the college courses that
would fit the personality and interests of his sons. For sure, his sons will understand
everything of what their father dreams for them.

3. Before starting to establish his assembly plant, he needs to consider the following steps.
First, he should set up goals for his future business. Second, he should get an idea or
detailed information about the operation of his friend’s business. He should analyze
every action he performs in order to provide a simple but strong foundation. Third, he
needs to consult or open up everything about his plan or goals with his children so that
they can help with this matter. Fourth, as soon as his children will graduate and become
registered engineers, accountants and under business Ad and Management they should
working in different companies to have experience. While them working on that
company, Mr. Mallari starts to establish his assembly plant. These steps can be
effective, both of them will benefit from this as he establishes his plant while his
children are there to support while they are working in the other companies.

D. Conclusion

Having dreams in life can help you to decide the right path in order to succeed in the
future. Based on the story of Mr. Mallari, therefore I conclude that having parents who decided
on our college courses is the best, the thing is they need first to open up everything to their
children so that they will understand and make them realize what the importance of that
courses. To have dreams in life not only for yourself but also for your family is the best decision
you have and success in the future is the best gift from that dreams. Having a dream to become
successful is a great thing that happens in our life. Family is everything, having parents who
concern about our future and having children who have potentials, determination, motivation,
and understanding is the best tandem. Success is not possible if there is no support from each
other that is why being together can build you a strong foundation for a brighter future.
