A. Learning Objectives
By the end of the class students will be able to identify the correct format of
formal invitation and filled the information into complete formal invitation.

B. Learning Steps

• Asking lessons related to the material to be studied
• Deliver learning materials

2. Core Activities

Motivation and Information 1. The teacher remind the students


that last week they learned about
informal invitation and today they
continued to learn the formal
invitation.
2. The teacher delivered the material
by giving an example of formal
invitation and ask students what
kind of the invitation is.

Presentation The teacher explaining the material about


the definiton of formal invitation, the
example of fomal invitation, the format of
formal invitation, social function,
linguistic characteristic, format of layout,
and ways of organizing information.
Practice 1. The teacher ask the students to
make a group consist of 2 people
and give a paper about wedding
invitation.
2. Teacher ask the students to identify
every format of wedding invitation
that they get based on correct
order.
3. The teacher asks each group to read
their discussion in order to identify
the correct format of wedding
invitation.

Production The teacher gives each group an incomplete


wedding invitation and they must filled the
blank (information) with some words
below to make the complete wedding
invitation. This task will be their homework
and collect in Google Classroom within a
week or until the next meeting.

C. Closing Activities
Before close the meeting, the teacher asks a student to conclude the material of the day.
