in time as previously promised. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may
cause you and your company.

As you know, you have been our valued customer for over a decade, and we have
always strived to provide you with the highest quality service. However, in this case,
we met unexpected difficulties that caused a delay in the completion of the project.
Specifically, we have encountered a problem with the parts ordered for your project.
Unfortunately, due to our oversight, the wrong parts were ordered by a new employee
who was not yet familiar with our processes. We didn't catch this bug in time and as a
result we couldn't rearrange the right parts before the ice storm hit and cut power for
two days.
Due to these unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to process your order on
time. I understand that this is disappointing to you, and I sincerely apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured that we will do our best to minimize delays
and complete the project as quickly as possible.
Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to fix this. We appreciate your
business, and your satisfaction is most important to us.
