3. - The first question was one of the questions that students struggled most with on this
pretest. Out of the 18 students who took the test, 12 of them got it wrong and only 6
got it right. The question was asking if in match play all players compete with one
another based on individual score and the answer was false but over half of the class
put that it was true.
- Students did well on the second question. Only 2 students got it wrong and the other
16 got it right. The two students that were wrong put that it was true for loud cheering
and celebrations to be acceptable on the course.
- Question 3 was another question students did well on, there where 14 who got it
correct and 4 who got it wrong. Those who got this one wrong put that it was false for it
to be permissible for a hole in one to hit the flagpole before going in the hole.
- The fourth question was another one of the questions that student had trouble with.
Only 5 students got this question right, and 13 got it wrong. For the students who got
this one wrong, they put that it was true to put your dominant foot be right behind your
non dominant foot to produce more force.
- For the 5th question 14 students got it correct and only 4 got it wrong showing students
did practically well on this question. The 4 students who put false were incorrect
because your weight should be on your front foot when you follow through after
swinging.
- The 6th question was the first multiple choice question and not one student got this
question correct. Out of the four choices only three answers where chosen and no one
picked the right one.
- The seventh question everyone got correct, there were no incorrect responses. Every
student knew that the driver would be the best club to use to produce the most force
when hitting the ball.
- Question 8 was asking what it is called when you score two under a par four. Overall
students did well on this question because more then half of them got the answer right
(11 students) and picked eagle. 5 students thought the answer was birdie, one thought
it was par and another student put bogey.
- Number 9, almost everyone got it correct except for one student. 17 out of 18 students
put the correct answer, which was a putter, and only 1 student put a wedge. The
question was asking which club should be used to create the least amount of force
when the ball is on the green.
- Question 10 every student got correct. The question asked in a regulation game how
many holes are played and 18 out of 18 students put the correct answer which was 18.

4. In my groups instructional video my rationale many covered the 4 th question on the

pretest. Question 4 was a true/false question and was one of three questions that
students mostly struggled on. I explained the question, and then explained why the
answer was false and not true. As I was explaining the correct answer and why true
would not be correct, I was demonstrating the movements as well. I demonstrated the
wrong answer then the right answer and showed how false would be correct for this
question through examples.

b. Each of these questions (1, 4, 6) were specifically addressed in the video. Other
questions were also explained throughout the video that students got wrong but
didn’t necessarily struggle on as a whole class.
Question 1 was the first question that was reviewed in the video. My groupmate
Lydia explained what the question was, then went into why the question was false
and not true. Lydia explained the question as if the answer was true, like most of the
class thought it was, then she went over why it was false.
For the next question that students struggled with, question 4, I covered in my
groups video. I explained the question to my students then I demonstrated if the
answer was true and false. I used demonstrations to explain why the answer was
false rather than true, I demonstrated the answer as if it were true and then showed
the students the correct answer’s (false) positioning and movement.
The other questions students struggled with was question 6. Not one student got
this question right. My groupmate Lydia reviewed and explained this question. She
read the question and the answers then she explained what all the answers are.
After explaining each answer, she went over why the answers was what it was.
