Explain the following: Teaching is a Virtue
3 Ways of Teaching
“We teach by habit”
Explanation:
Habit is a behavior that is beneficial to one's physical or mental health, often linked to
a high level of discipline and self-control.
To become an effective teacher we need to show them the importance of good
manners and right conduct, like social values and etiquette and/or proper modes of behavior
that convey respect to those whom one interacts with.
Like Clarence Thomas said Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot.
Teachers are the channel of learning which they equiped the skills, the knowledge,
and also shaped the character development of the student with virtue like kindness, humility
honesty, respectful and God fearing.

“We teach by percept and rules”

Explanation:
Teachers is the gateway in advocating good discipline, As a teacher, you represent an
important force in the lives of your pupils. You might well be the adult that they spend the
most time with daily. As such, you aren’t only in a position to teach a curriculum, you can
also be a strong, positive role model for pupils as they develop into young adults.

“We teach by example”

Explanation:
In our previous lesson we learn the negative and positive outcome in the interpretation
on children what they lived.
In the eye of of the student teacher is a good role model. They see us an authoritative
but we need to remind to ourselves that we must practice what we preach, we need to be
careful in our action, how we speak especially in the front of young students,we need to show
or feel them that they are belong in the classroom individually. Through this an effective
teacher will lead to a good influencer in every student.
A good education can change anyone, a good teacher can change everything.
