Primary Responsibilities
Maintenance Mechanical HOS – MPT –Liquid terminal
Monitoring and setting responsibilities for the continuous running of equipment and
machinery in industrial settings.  Review routine maintenance and organise repairs.
Maintain efficiency, development and progress of activities of Liquid Operation. Setting
goals to improve operational facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and
develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of terminal, personnel and
operational processes. Ensures smooth operation of systems and plant health monitoring
for continued productivity.
Responsible to co-ordinate with HOD for day to day activities of plant.
 Standardize, design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
 diagnose and review breakdown problems
 Budget planning and monitoring
 monitor and control maintenance costs
 deal with emergencies, monitor unplanned problems and repairs
 improve health and safety policies and procedures
 To Audit maintenance activities for execution and quality of work.
 Monitor KPI/KRA, skill assessment, develop skill development plan of
subordinates
To overall maintain the integrity of assets of Liquid Terminal, Jetty area, Docklines,
Structures, Takfarms, TLFs, Pumps, compressors, burners and N2 Plant.
Ensuring workplace safety in line with organization safety policy.
Ensure compliance to Gensuite and take actions in define time to complete them.
 Review and monitor project details, scope engineering documents and cost
estimate for the execution of the planned maintenance works together with
(main) contractors and other departments and disciplines;
 Governance on quality, legal and or safety requirements during the whole
maintenance job including execution;
 Responsible for monitoring & coordinating procurement of materials and
contracting services together with internal specialists;
 Responsible for handover the maint. Job/project to operational domain and
ensure closure of maint. Job/project including timely completing of job.
 Review and monitor technical proposals for improvements of technical
installations;
 Support or promote innovations, new products and methods to enhance
operational efficiency.
 Review and monitor terminals in issues related to customer satisfaction.
 Standardize way of working over terminals and within team;
 Review and monitor project evaluations and Management of Change.
 Review and monitor risks and seeks for mitigation to enhance safety
 Monitors annual maintenance plan by ensuring Monthly, Weekly daily plans are
executed as per maintenance planning process.
 Ensures weekly maintenance plans are reviewed daily to avoid a bar-wave of
backlog of maintenance as per SAP PM Schedules;
 Ensures that quality maintenance is performed by conducting audits of completed
works.
 Conducts analysis of repetitive failures of Equipments installed and positively
engages with team to find solutions to prevent recurrence of such failures;
 Review and monitor Periodic internal audits in Liquid Terminal and also
coordination with any such external technical Auditors to ensure the integrity of
the plant health is upheld;
 Monitor supply of the spares and consumables needed with Commercial

 Critical planning of the preservation of the equipment that will not be fully
utilized so that maintenance is in such a way that preserves the integrity for when
that plant is needed to operate; Review plan and monitor to minimize MTTR and
maximize MTBF.
 Review and monitor Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
and strategies are adhered to in order to have incident free operation;
 Seamless communication and good relationship with internal & external stake
holders.
 Monitors machines’ productivity are in line with the business requirement and
that of customers in Collaborations with Operation team;
 Review and monitor to ensures that plans are implemented to minimise any
negative business impacts, such as demurrages, dead-freight, penalties, energy
consumption and asset damages;
 Enhancing productivity by system upgrading & Cost saving initiative Energy
conservation & energy saving Initiative.
 Monitors Breakdown maintenance in co-ordination with HODs and cross
functional teams.
 Investigate, record and report on all maintenance incidents and ensures the
learnings are captured to facilitate continuous improvement
 Review SOPs for LT maintenance are effectively implemented and followed.
 Ensure that all processes are captured in a manner that identifies improvement
areas and seek to improve the same with a sense of urgency.
 Review JSA, HIRA, SOP, WI update and implementation.
 Monitor Utilities system availability, Reliability, Monitoring of Utility operations
efficiency.
 Establish a culture of safe practices & methods
 Coordination with OEM.
 Monitor Implementation of IMS, SMS, COE modules.
 Review and monitor Up keeping of drawing and documentation.
