Dear Parent/Guardian(s):

Thank you for supporting your child(ren) as they participate in the


Cathedral Chapel School Annual Science Fair. Please carefully read the
contents of this packet. If you have any further questions feel free to
contact the classroom teacher of your child(ren). Enjoy the process as we
encourage innovation through inspiration. Full S.T.E.A.M. ahead!

Important Dates
WED, March 1 Pre ordered Science Fair boards order forms were
handed out to students through the family envelope.
MON, March 6 Board order forms DUE
MON, March 6 The classroom teacher will hand out Science Fair
information & Proposal Forms

WED, March 8 Science Fair Proposal Forms are due to homeroom


teachers and Group Permission Slip Due to
homeroom teachers
FRI, March 10 Approved Science Fair Proposal Forms will be
returned to all students. Students should immediately
begin to work on their Science Fair projects
MON, March 13 Science Fair boards will be distributed to students

FRI, March 24 3:30-4:30pm Science Fair Set Up: Science Fair


Committee and parent volunteers will set up the tables
in the auditorium
MON, March 27 7:30-9:00am Registration: Students and parents will set
up Science Fair projects on their designated table and
promptly exit the auditorium.
9:00-3:30pm Judges and Science Fair Committee only
*Selected students will be interviewed by judges

TUES, March 28 9:00-3:30pm Judges and Science Fair Committee only

WED, March 29 8:00-12:30pm Science Fair student viewing


3:30-5:30pm Open viewing (All children must be
supervised)

THURS, March 30 8:00-2:00pm Science Fair student viewing


2:00-3:00pm Project boards will be distributed back to
the classroom
3:30-4:30pm Science Fair Break down: Science Fair
Committee and parent volunteers will break down the
tables in the auditorium

MON, April 3 1:45pm Awards and Showcase Assembly


*Parents/Guardians are invited
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place projects in each division will
present to the entire school and Science Fair Committee
to compete for the Best in Show trophy.
