APPROVING THE REALIGNMENT OF FUNDS IN THE OFFICE OF THE PROVINCIAL

AGRICULTURIST IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (P2,680,500.00)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

WHEREAS, pursuant to Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code
of 1991, funds shall be exclusively used for specific purposes for which it had been appropriated;

WHEREAS, certain funds intended for specific purposes have not been expended, hence, have
accumulated savings;

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 336 of Republic Act No. 7160, the Local Chief Executive or the
Presiding Officer of the Sanggunian concerned may, by an ordinance, be authorized to augment any item
within the same expense class of their respective appropriations;

WHEREAS, Ms. Sylvia V. Dela Cruz, Provincial Agriculturist, requested for the realignment of
funds in the total amount of Two Million Six Hundred Eighty Thousand Five Hundred Pesos
(P2,680,500.00), as specified herein:

WHEREAS, after thorough deliberation and discussion, this August Body finds the proposal for the
realignment of funds feasible and justifiable.
NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Honorable Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Capiz in session assembled

that:

Section 1. This is an ordinance approving the Realignment of Funds in the Office of the Provincial
Agriculturist in the total amount of Two Million Six Hundred Eighty Thousand Five Hundred Pesos
(P2,680,500.00).
Section 2. Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval and after some copies
hereof had been posted in at least three conspicuous places in the Provincial Capitol.
