Discussion of the Result.
Based in my experiment I observed that the nails with empty water or
vinegar has no change in itself and there is no rust; nothing happened since day 1 to day 5. While the
nails with water, the color of the water changed because the rust mixed into the water (only the
emerged part of the nails had changed but the upper surface remain normal). Meanwhile the nails on
the vinegar had opposite effect compared with the nails on water, because the vinegar’s color doesn’t
change, and the emerged part of the nails has no any physical change at all, but the upper portion of
the nails are covered with thick rust.
Site another example you find in your everyday life which also show this reaction. Discuss this
observation, as to how this reaction happened in your example.
Another example of this situation is the nail in the roof that after how many
days of exposed in sunlight and rain the nail started to rust. And the vinegar like in papaya pickles it
can stored for how many days because of the vinegar.
