is an item of 50X6 mm Cu strip for
equipment body earthing as well.
We felt that body earthing can be
done with 50x6 GI strip where we
can save substantial amount. We
raised the point and got the
approval from MEP consultant to
go ahead with GI Earthing. Cost of
50x6 mm Cu strip as per BOQ Rate
is Rs2123 X 1700 m = Rs3609100,
Low Side Electrical cost of GI strip is Rs246 X 1700 m
