Subject : DESIGNATION AS COORDINATOR- GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

You are hereby designated as Coordinator for Gender and Development Office effective
August 1, 2022. As such you are expected to perform the following tasks in addition to your
responsibility as a faculty member of SorSU Castilla Campus:
1. Exercise general supervision and control of the Gender and Development Office;
2. Design information dissemination mechanism for GAD advocacies;
3. Conceptulize and implement gender-based research and extension projects;
4. Organize groups to empower the marginalized sector of society, especially women and
LGBTQIA+;
5. Submit reports and other required documents to concerned offices regularly;
6. Coordinate, collaborate, and cooperate with the different units, offices and departments
in the implementation of the GAD programs and activities;
7. Accomplish the targets that will be given to the GAD Office in line with the short and
long-term plan and targets of the campus;
8. Establsih and maintain linkages with Gos and NGOs in the promotion of the university’s
vision and mission;
9. Establish a culture of quality and excellence, harmonious relationship, and camaraderie
among all sectors office of the campus;
10. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by Campus Director.

This designation will not entail additional compensation except for reimbursement of
expenses incurred in the approved performance of duties and responsibilities outside the
official station.
