DESIGN CONCEPT DEFENSE

Each student will be presenting two (2) design concepts of their aircraft drafts. This will be the initial
requirement to proceed to their aircraft design for preliminary weight estimates and basic performance
calculations for their final draft

PRESENTATION

1. Each designer are required to wear their Type A uniform


2. Each designer must give each of the three (3) panelists a copy of their design concept
3. Each designer must present their design concept in the PPT containing:
A. Name of the Aircraft: Unique company name + unique aircraft name
B. Design Sketch: Emphasizing the feature/modification/alteration of the design.
C. Features: Specify the exact modification/alteration of the aircraft
D. Old Model: Specify the general characteristics and performance of original aircraft model
E. Aircraft Innovation: Explaining the background of the aircraft, the details of the innovation,
the reason of the innovation, the availability of the materials/instrument/construction, and
the desired goal of the design
F. Airfoil: Original airfoil and the modified airfoil
