Subject: Application seeking financial aid and support to set up “Primary Bamboo Processing unit.”

With due respect and citing your kind attention to the subject mentioned above, we would beg to
state that we are “Foundation for Integrated Support & Solution”, A Section 8 company registered under the
Companies Act 2013. Since, our inception of almost a decade we have been involved in implementing
various projects related to skill development, sustainability and livelihood in various parts of the state of
Assam and outside. Based on our previous experience and baseline survey we have found that it will be
very beneficial if a “Primary Bamboo Processing unit” is set up in the state.

Bamboo is natural resource that is found in abundance in the state, it has been a primary source of product
and utility in every household since a long time. There are artisans in the state who have been working
with bamboo since ages. Hence, a processing plant if set up will help in utilizing the natural resource and
obtaining processed product from bamboo. The unit will also help in generating employment for local
people who will be indulging in the activities of the unit.

Therefore, we propose to set up a “Primary Bamboo Processing unit” in the Dima Hasao district. We hope
that you will be kind enough to go through the proposal and help us with the needed financial support to
set up the unit if you consider it viable. We will remain forever grateful to you for your kind support.
