Theme Module: Dear stress, let’s break up!

Objective:

i. Assist students to figure out early sign of stress

Materials needed:

1. Drawing papers (100gms) 60 sheets
2. Colour pencils (12 per box) 12 boxes
3. Eraser 15
4. Pencil 2 boxes

Duration:

Total durations : 1 hour

Time frame for sub activities :

i. Distributing materials -----------------------10 minutes


ii. Drawing session ----------------------- 20~30 minutes
iii. Sharing session -----------------------15 minutes
iv. Sharing session -----------------------15 minutes
v. Ending session -----------------------5 minutes

Procedures and activities:

After the ice-breaking session, all elementary students will gather and sit together in their groups,
which were already divided during the ice-breaking session. Following that, two or three
organising committees will distribute materials such as drawing papers and coloured pencils to
participants for use during activities. Each participant will be given 20 minutes to draw
something creative. If a participant cannot complete his drawing in 20 minutes, the drawing
section will be extended by 10 minutes. Following that, the organising committee will select 15
participants from among 40 to share their drawing pictures. At the same time, the organising
committee can ask the participants who are sharing questions, such as why she drew this picture.
Is this have any meaning ? During the closing session, the president will give a brief talk about
stress and share some simple tips to help participants manage their stress in everyday life.
