I. Objectives:
 Apply online safety, security, ethics, and etiquette standards and practice
in the use of ICTs in relation to their specific professional tracks.

III. Strategies:
A. Preparatory Activities
 Start the discussion by showing the students a picture of a padlock.
 Ask the students about their idea on the given picture and its purpose.
 Summarize the answers of the students, and then give the importance
of being safe to their valuables as an introduction to the topic.
B. Lesson Proper
 Begin the discussion by asking the students if they have an account
online (such as email, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.) and if they
created security password on their personal computers.
 Discuss the online safety and security.
 Ask the students about their ideas on how to be safe when using
Internet.
 Discuss the dangers on the internet and its types.
 Ask the students if they have personal computers at home and how
they secure their files in it.
 Discuss the windows security and its importance.
 Ask the students what editing options are in user accounts.

I. Objectives:
 Use the Internet as a tool for credible research and information gathering
to best achieve specific class objectives or address situational challenges.

A. Preparatory Activities
 Write on the board the word Research. Then ask the students what
comes in their mind when they hear or read it.

emphasize the importance of online research.
 Summarize the answers of the students and relate them to the lesson.

 Introduce the online search and research skills.
 Ask the students about their idea in contextual online search.
 Discuss the steps in making contextualized online search.

enhance their current state to communicate a message for a specific
purpose.

visual message in an online environment related to specific professional

 Present to the students a black and white photo and a colored photo.
 Let them observe the difference of the two pictures.

Instruction: Prepare a presentation on how they will use the
multimedia to establish the assigned field. For example: In education,
they use multimedia to publish the new offered professional tracks for
senior high school in their university. Allot three (3) minutes to each
group for their presentation.

 Show leaflets or newspaper to the class and an article on the internet.
 Let them compare the most convenient source of information.

 Group the class into five; assign a leader to each group.
Instruction: Create a draft of their chosen topic of their blog. (15
minutes)
 After the activity, discuss the ICT platforms or tools to be used to
publish your blog.

2 Projects

I. Objectives:
 Generate a report on the performance of ICT Project for Social Change on
the basis of data gathered from available monitoring tools and evaluating
techniques.
 Create a reflexive piece or output using an ICT tool, platform, or
application of choice on the learning experience undergone during the
semester.
 Learn how to maintain and sustain the operation of an ICT project.
 Understand and reflect on the ICT learning process.

 Ask the students how technologies reach the remote areas that can’t
be accessed and can’t use ICT.
