Personal resource is basically used for personality strengths which have positive dimensionality
as their unique features. Many researches have been conducted to explain the positive features of
personal resource. Luthans, Youssef, and Avolio (2007) operationally defined personal resource

documented these constructs and develop a theory called psychological capital. They elaborate
these four dimension by saying this : having confidence to put necessary efforts in challenging
task for success (self-efficacy) and make positive attribution about success in future (optimism),
preserving to that goal until it will be succeed (hope) and after facing problems and adversity
sustaining to attain success (resiliency).

emotions over a period of time increases in resources of increased mindfulness, purpose in life,
social support life satisfaction and decreases depressive symptoms.
