Introduction

In many areas, garbage has turned into an issue for the locals. Plastic
garbage has significantly increased in the Municipality of Echague during
the past few years because of an increase in the usage of plastic bottles.

Making or encouraging community members in Arabiat to recycle plastic

bottles will help them understand how these waste materials can be turned
into a variety of profitable items.

Mission:
To manage solid waste as a resource, promoting equitable, sustainable,
environmentally sound and cost effective practices through an integrated
system of waste reduction, reuse, recycling, innovative technology, customer
service and education.

Vision:
To reduce the amount of waste by promoting individual and corporate
responsibility.
To recover waste for its highest and best use while balancing rates and
services.
To transform our business from burying waste to utilizing waste as a
resource.
To eliminate the need for landfills.

Purpose

The purpose of this project is,

-to maintain the cleanliness
-to teach people how to make everything valuable
-to help them earn money by selling the newly made products
-to reduce the number of wastes of plastic bottles or cans
-to save our surroundings from greenhouse gases
Description

The project will gather residents & conduct the program inside the
community centre. The project will be happening in barangay Arabiat on
Saturday, November 26 at 8am-3pm.

The project will also launch a Facebook page at @Recycled? GoGreen!

Support

The estimated budget needed for the project is ranging from 1,000 to

3,000.This includes the fare, snacks and other related fees.
