SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION
The greatest asset any institution can have is the alumni
system. Alumni’s are the people who represent the
institution in the real world. Thus our web based system
helps educational institutes in bringing their alumni in
one platform, organize them batch-wise, location-wise
and communicate with them effectively for various
purposes. Through this system alumni would be able to
get frequent information about the events happening in
the college. Apart from that they can share information
on job openings with the students. This system contains
mainly four user modules, admin, alumni, staff and
student. Admin can hire alumni s as the staff and can
invite them for taking classes for students, students are
added by admin. They can communicate with the alumni.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
The aim of proposed is to develop a system of improved
facilities. The proposed can overcome all the limitations
of the existing. The key features of the system are
security, user friendly, speed and accuracy, efficiency and
flexibility etc.

MODULE DESCRIPTION
LOGIN MODULE: THE SYSTEM PROVIDES SECURITY
FEATURES THROUGH USERNAME AND PASSWORD
MATCHING WHERE ONLY AUTHORIZED USER CAN
ACCESS THE SYSTEM WITH DIFFERENT AUTHORIZATION
LEVEL. IT INCLUDES ADMIN ,ALUMNI, STUDENT AND
STAFF.

PROFILE REGISTRATION: THIS MODULE ALLOWS


USERS TO REGISTER ON TO THE SYSTEM.

ADMIN MODULE:ADMINISTRATOR HAS THE


AUTHORITY OF THE ENTIRE SYSTEM. HE MANAGES
ALUMNI , STAFFS AND STUDENTS. HE CAN HIRE ALUMNI
AS STAFFS. ADMIN ADDS NOTIFICATIONS ABOUT
EVENTSCONDUCTING IN THE COLLEGE. ADMIN CAN
INVITE ALUMNI FOR TAKING CLASSES FOR
STUDENTS.ADMIN VERIFIES EVERY USER OF THE
SYSTEM.

ALUMNI MODULE: ALUMNI IS ADDED BY THE ADMIN


AFTER THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR COURSE. EACH
STUDENT WHO PASSED OUT FROM THE COLLEGE
WILL BE ADDED AS THE ALUMNI OF THE COLLEGE. THEY
CAN COMMUNICATE WITH STAFFS AND STUDENTS.
ALUMNI CAN ADD NOTIFICATIONS ABOUT CURRENT
AFFAIRS AND JOB OPENINGS THAT ARE USEFUL FOR
STUDENTS.

STAFF MODULE: STAFFS ARE ADDED BY ADMIN. THEY


CAN COMMUNICATE WITH ALUMNI. THEY CAN ADD
CURRENT AFFAIRS AS NOTIFICATIONS.

STUDENT MODULE: STUDENTS ARE ADDED BY


ADMIN. THEY CAN COMMUNICATE WITH THE ALUMNI.

SEARCH: THIS MODULE ALLOWS ALUMNI AND


STUDENT OF THE COLLEGE TO SEARCH FOR DIFFERENT
ALUMNI’S AND FACULTIES.
CHAT :THIS MODULE ALLOWS STUDENT AND ALUMNI‘S
TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER.

CONCLUSION
A desktop application that enables the alumni’s to stay in
connected with their college. Alumni Management
system provides better communication between alumni
and their respective college. Under the current scenario,
many colleges don’t even have any proper alumni
management system and the already existing ones
don’t have enough information about alumni. The
communication between students and alumni is very
less. Alumni are unaware of events happening in the
college. So, this system provides easy way for
communication between students and alumni. Also
students can get to know in detail about the alumni and
identify job openings via them. Also alumni will be
updated with each progress of the college.
