Rules:
1. Participants must arrive at venue before 9:00 am, late arrivals will lead to
disqualification.
2. Rangoli should fit in allotted (4x4ft) area.
3. Maximum time to complete the rangoli is 1 hour.
4. Teams will be responsible for arrangement of the material required to
prepare rangoli.
5. A team may have not more than 5 participants, change in participants should
be reported directly to intern coordinators before starting of the competition.
6. Any act of indiscipline by participants calls for disqualification of teams.
7. Use of stencils or other help materials not allowed.
8. Last minute entries won’t be entertained.
DANCE
Time slot: 9:30 am –10:00 am

Rules:
1. Participants must arrive at venue before 9:30 am, late arrivals will lead to
disqualification.
2. A single performance should not exceed 2 minutes.
3. Each participant should be prepared for respective performances along with
their props before starting of competition
4. Participants need to submit their music/songs to the intern coordinators 2
days before competition.
5. The costumes and other props for dance have to be arranged by participants
themselves
6. Last minute entries won’t be entertained.
SINGING
Time slot: 9:00 am – 9:30 am

Rules:
1. Participants must arrive at venue before 9:00 am, late arrivals will lead to
disqualification.
2. A single performance should not exceed 2 minutes.
3. Participants should bring their own musical instruments if required in the
performance.
4. Participants will not be allowed to refer to the lyrics while singing.
5. Choice of songs is open to the participants.
6. Languages preferred: Punjabi & Hindi.
7. Last minute entries won’t be entertained.
MEHENDI

3. Mehndi design must cover palm.

5. Each participant must have one subject.
6. Use of stickers and stencils is not allowed.
7. Last minute entries won’t be entertained.
TURBAN TYING

Rules:
1. Participants must arrive at venue before 9:00 am, late arrivals will lead to

3. Bring your own turbans, mirrors, pins etc.
4. Pre tying setup is included in the competition time.
5. Maximum time to complete turban tying is ½ hour.
6. Last minute entries won’t be entertained.
7. Participants must have basic knowledge of significance of Turban.
CALLIGRAPHY

5. Help material such as stencils, online reference, etc. NOT allowed.

SALAD / QUICK FOOD MAKING
Time slot: 9:00 am –10:00 am

Rules:
1. Participants must arrive at venue before 9:00 am, late arrivals will lead to
disqualification.
2. Maximum time for preparations will be one hour.
3. Each team would have Two participants.
4. Participating team has to bring their own necessary materials required for the
preparations.
5. No fire cooking allowed.
6. Participants should not bring any cut, chopped or grated raw material. They
should process it on the spot within the timer.
7. Only Vegetarian dishes are eligible for competition.
8. The participant should be able to explain the recipe.
9. Hygiene standards shall be maintained.
10. Uses of mobile phones for recipe reference are not allowed.
11. Participants should arrange separate cutlery items for 3 Judges.
JAM: Just a Minute
Time slot: 10:00 am –10:15 am
Venue: Examination Hall

Rules:
1. Participants must arrive at venue before 10:00 am, late arrivals will lead
to disqualification.
2. Each Participants will be given a topic on the spot with no preparation
time and the speaking time shall be one minute.
3. Topics would be picked by the participants from a bowl of chits.
4. Participants can use English, Hindi and Punjabi language.
5. Buzzer will be pressed twice, once when 30 sec have passed and second
at the end of 1 minute, signaling the participants that their turn is over.
6. Usage of foul language will lead to undermarking.
7. Last minute entries won’t be entertained.
MUSHAYRA / POETRY
Time slot: 10:15 am –10:45 am

4. Content of Hindi, Punjabi and English are welcomed.
5. Participant must present their self-made poems.
6. Last minute entries won’t be entertained.
T-SHIRT PIANTING / DESIGNING

6. No last-minute entries will be entertained.

8. Duration of competition will be 1 hour.
POT DECORATION

4. Decoration should be related to theme.
5. Maximum time for completion will be one hour.
6. Plain pots to be used for decoration.
7. Use of stencils and other such help not allowed.
8. No copying from reference materials.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Theme: Fest Fun through the lens.
Time of Submission: 12 pm
